Who We Were

TRD Frameworks, a full-service market research company, was established in 1986 in Seattle, WA.  After 25 successful years, Webb Green, the company’s founder has retired.  Long-time TRD veterans, Debora Scott and Katherine Hobbs, assumed ownership of the company on January 1, 2011 and will be operating the company under a new name, illuminate Market Research & Planning

illuminate began as The Research Department in 1986. This name came out of the belief that it is important for our clients to think of us as just another department within their companies – integrally immersed in understanding their businesses and customers. When you need a media plan, you call the media department. When you need a creative solution, you call the creative department. And, when you need to understand your markets and customers, you call The Research Department.  This philosophy remains unchanged as we move forward under the illuminate banner.

Research has evolved and so have we.  Our new name speaks to what we strive to do.

Illuminate (verb):  1.  To shed light, clarify; 2. To increase knowledge; 3.  To enlighten, remove obstacles from understanding
